Gain more confidence and clarity with feeding your baby
Perhaps you are feeling apprehensive about offering your baby food for the first time. You've been bombarded with information and opinions and you're struggling to know who or what to believe.

Or maybe you're feeling a bit stuck. You know your baby is ready to start solids but you're wondering how it's going to work. Where does food fit in with a wakeful and frequently feeding baby?

Or it might be that you're looking for reassurance so you can stop worrying whether you're doing things right or wrong and focus on what's important instead. You have lots of questions about baby led weaning and want some answers!
Starting solids can be fun and easy
Introducing: Starting solids with a baby led approach
A 2 hour live workshop on baby led weaning that will give you the knowledge and confidence to get your baby started with solids.
Followed by,

A 1 hour Q and A session (at a later date) to reflect on the progress you and your baby has made.

It can be really hard to make a decision about starting solids when you don't have all the facts and information. Nurturing your curiosity can help you get answers.

This time in our baby's life can bring out so many different emotions. So if overwhelm is leading you to think that certain things aren't possible, reach out for some support. Then, you can start feeling excited about the next steps.

It's important to take your time to mull things over. Then if you want, you can share your thoughts and experiences with others. This can dispel those doubts and encourage you to trust your instincts.

I'm a children's dietitian and a mum of two.

I work with parents who are curious, open minded and have a thirst for knowledge.

I have a kind, non-judgemental approach where I embrace each individual's personal situation and family lifestyle.

My aim is to ensure that you feel listened to and supported with the decisions you make about how you feed your baby.

I've been a registered dietitian for over 15 years, with around ten of those years within the NHS. I've helped hundreds of families with their dietary needs for fussy eating and allergies.

It was my experience of becoming a parent and starting solids with both my kids, that led me to set up Raising Happy Eaters four years ago. I wanted to focus more on supporting parents at the beginning of their starting solids journey with their babies, with emphasis on using a baby led weaning approach.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the regulator of health and care professions in the UK. This ensures I adhere to certain standards of conduct, performance, ethics and proficiency.

I am also a member of the British Dietetic Association and the Starting Solids Network. And this ensures I stay up to date with latest research and best practice.

“There is so much to read online about BLW but nothing compares to actually being able to talk to an expert and ask your own questions. Claire is so knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease asking any questions."
